What does “WS” stand for in WS Food Distributor?

WS stands for Wholesale. We are a wholesale food distributor specializing in frozen food, beverages, and café supplies.

Shipping Information

Can I request Halal cert?

Yes, you can.

✅ To request Halal certified products (cold or dry items), just tick the “Halal Request” box before checkout.

We will try to send the cert within 7 days (not guaranteed, but we’ll do our best).

📌 We only verify if the item is Halal certified.

Photo Record for Orders

Do you take photos of items?

Yes — we photograph the items inside the box both before and after packing.

Why do you take photos?

For quality control, to verify the correct items were packed, and to help resolve any delivery or damage issues.

Who can see the photos?

Photos are used by our team for order checks and customer service. We only share them with the customer or courier (done packed) when needed to resolve a problem.

How long do you keep the photos?

We retain photos for a limited time for record-keeping and dispute resolution.

Can I request a copy of my photos?

Yes — contact our customer service [wsfooddistributorsales@gmail.com] and we will provide the photos as requested, subject to record-keeping needs.

(Cold Truck) How are delivery charges calculated for cold items [LOOSE]?
  • Up to 5kg → RM55 per carton
  • 5.01–10kg → RM60 per carton

  • 10.01–15kg → RM66 per carton

  • 15.01–20kg → RM71 per carton

Yes — you can order frozen and chilled items together.

(Cold Truck) Do you deliver to my area?

We cover most areas in Peninsular Malaysia (not all).

(Cold Truck) Why we recommend ordering 5 cartons or more?

Why do you recommend ordering at least 5 cartons?

The delivery rate per carton will be lower once your order reaches 5 cartons or more.

Can I mix different products to reach 5 cartons?

Yes. You may mix both frozen with chilled.

What if I order fewer than 5 cartons?

You can, but the delivery cost per carton will be higher compared with ordering 5+ cartons.

How do I find out exactly how much I’ll save?

Refer to the price list below or contact us for a quick quote.

  • ≤ 10kg : RM 27.00 per carton
  • ≤ 15kg : RM 32.00 per carton
  • ≤ 20kg : RM 37.00 per carton

(Cold Truck) Are chilled and frozen items charged the same delivery rate?

The pricing rule is the same.

(Dry Item) How is delivery charged?
•Example: Klang Valley delivery = RM11 per carton
•Each carton can hold up to 10kg
•You can mix different products in the same carton (as long as they fit and stay under 10kg).

📝 Some products (e.g. 25–30kg items) may count as 2 cartons. 

 

(Dry Item) What if my order is more than 10kg?

If your order is above 10kg, it will be split into two cartons, so for example 15kg will be charged RM22 (RM11 × 2 cartons).

Delivery Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)?

When will my order be picked up?

After you place an order, courier pickup usually takes 1~2 days.

How soon will my items arrive (ETA)?

Once the courier picks up your order, the fastest ETA is 1~3 days.

Is there any difference between dry and cold truck delivery?

Core timings are generally the same (pickup 1~2 days, ETA 1~3 days after pickup). Cold deliveries follow extra cold-chain handling and routing, so in remote areas or during routing constraints, they may take slightly longer than dry items.

What can reasonably cause a delay?

  • Public holidays (courier schedules change).

  • Unforeseen incidents (accidents, road closures, and unexpected operational issues).

  • Severe weather.

  • High order volume/peak seasons (e.g., major sales, festival periods) are causing routing backlogs.

Are WS Food Distributor and Wah Seng 1986 the same company?

No, WS Food Distributor is an independent company. We have been a separate entity from Wahseng since 2022, and we focus on serving the unique needs of our customers with our own product range and services.

How many branches do you have and where are you located?

We currently have one branch. We are located at 2-4, Hala Pasar Baru, Taman Jubilee,
30300 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Please visit us for all your food service needs.

What is the delivery schedule?

Monday – Saturday, 10am-5pm (Until delivery is complete).

If you have not received your goods by 5pm, do not worry as delivery is still ongoing.

When will I receive my goods after placing order?

For orders placed after 2:00 pm, your order will be processed and delivered the next day. Please note that the delivery schedule is subject to changes. We will notify you once your order is ready for delivery.

For deliveries outside Ipoh, Perak, please contact us for additional assistance.

How do I get free delivery?

To get free delivery, your order needs to be RM198 above for Ipoh area only.

Can I specified the delivery time?

Of course you can! But there is no promises that we can deliver it following your time. However we will try our best to cater to your delivery time.

I have placed an order, can I change the delivery date?

Yes you can! Please inform us immediately if you want to change your delivery time.

I have already placed an order, can I add on item?

Certainly. As long as your order has not yet been sent out for delivery, you may inform our team immediately via WhatsApp.

How do I make payments after I submit my order?

No worries, our sales team will assist you for payment details.

What is your return policy?
  • All goods sold are not refundable or returnable.
  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us within [3 days] of receiving the order.
  • If you get an item with an expired date, inform us within [3 days] of receiving the order.
  • To exchange an item, visit our store where you bought it. Bring the original receipt, packaging, tags, and any extras it came with. The item should be in its original condition and packaging.
  • Returns and exchanges are not applicable to chilled or frozen items, as well as goods marked as sale or clearance items.
